Tricycle Regulatory Unit

Assess the necessary permit fees for new and renewal application of Tricycle Franchise as required by the City Revenue Code and recommend such payment to be paid at the City Treasurer’s Office;

Recommend to Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Committee (TFRC), the number of franchise to be distributed to each Tricycle Association;

Ensure the proper implementation of routes and proper placement of terminals for Tricycle Association designated by the Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Committee;

Issue Tricycle Violation Receipt to drivers found violating any provision under the “Traffic Management Code of Imus”, “Comprehensive Code on Tricycle Franchise in Imus”, and other related ordinances regarding tricycle;

Evaluate and recommend approval of the registration of bicycle with sidecars also known as “Padyak”;

Submit a periodic report to the City Mayor, Sangguniang Panlungsod and the City Treasurer’s Office on the status and development of the unit;

Discharge such other functions as prescribed by existing laws related to the operation and management of this unit.
